ALBUM COVER DESIGN:
The Downward Spiral

The goal was to redesign an album cover, in this case the cover of The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails (NIИ). During this project I created 3 different versions of the album, along with mockup t-shirts and other merchandise.

For the first design, I wanted the design to reflect the lyrics of the title track "The Downward Spiral." I used purely 2D assets in Adobe Illustrator to create this version, and in the next I would move onto 3D.

For the second design, I wanted to make a literal "Downward Spiral" with the letters and used the 3D features in Photoshop to manipulate the letters.

I created a t-shirt with this design also, and mockups with the band members wearing them are also below.
